Netflix shares slide on worries of rising costs
Netflix shares have been taking a beating this morning after returning some pretty positive earnings news. On Monday, Netflix reported a first-quarter profit that rose 35% as subscribers increased by 21%. Revenue rose to $326.2 million from $305.3 million, an increase of 7%.

Sirius purchase of XM gets antitrust approval
FINALLY!!!!
The U.S. Justice Department on Monday approved the proposed $4.22 billion purchase of XM Satellite Radio (XMSR) by Sirius Satellite Radio (SIRI) after concluding a combined XM-Sirius would not harm consumers.
The deal still needs approval from the Federal Communications Commission, which is expected to follow the Justice Department's lead.

With the addition of Fisher-Klosterman, Inc. I think CECO Environmental Corp. (CECE) is still a great buy at these levels and will have a very successful 2008 even with a slowdown in the US economy. This site is all about long term investment after all and with a air-pollution controls market that is growing this fast CECO is certainly in the right spot.

DIsney's Revnues Rise
Disney is up strong after reporting a better than expected revenue number. Revenues for the theme parks, TV and product division were up 9 percent for the quarter, sending the stock up over 5% in premarket activity.

FCC See’s Merger Decision By End Of Q1
Man, It has been awhile since I kept the discussion alive on the Sirius/XM merger. Recently the approval talks have been getting closer to finalization. And the fact that the FCC says they will reach a decision by the first quarter of 2008 makes me even more confident that this merger is going to go through.
