Do your children a favor and go out and buy some Google stock while it is on sale. That is unless you think that Google, the Internet, Advertising and Youtube are just going to disappear.

GTX Corp. (OTCBB: GTXO) announced the integration of Google Maps API Premier into the tracking platform of the gpVector Personal Location Service (PLS) technology. The PLS system is the size of a matchbook, equipped with a location-reporting module that utilizes GTX’s tracking technology, delivering real-time geographic coordinates via Google Maps, through cellular transmission.

It is final, Google (goog) has official one the search engine race. Some people might think they had already won it, but with the announcement from Yahoo today that it will begin running even more Google ads with it search results, it's over.

The only reason Google agreed to do it was to try and help Yahoo fight off the advances by Microsoft. Since Microsoft has now withdrawn from the offer (at least on paper), the basic reason for Google having to help Yahoo is no longer there. Also, WSJ report says that people at Google are worried about Google having to share advertising related data with Yahoo.

Anti-trust regulators won't allow 'a deal', but share holders won't allow for 'no deal'. Stalemate. Who wins?

My take on the Google earnings beat and what it means about Google as a company and its future. Also, a look back at what caused the stock to shed 40% in value despite the fact that its business fundamentals have not changed.

Nobody really gave much thought as to why Google's growth in paid clicks was stagnating, the common assumption being that the economy was in a funk, and Google had no more room to grow at present. Appears that there are other, and valid, reasons.

Google Blows Out The Numbers!

With the ridiculous news coming out of comscore a few weeks back the stock was punished for comscore's paid click data. Google though had already told us that they were reducing bad clicks and that there click data could suffer, but that it would generate higher revenue per paid click. Obviously they were correct and comscore now has zero credibility!
