Trading stocks on the New York Stock Exchange or the Nasdaq stock market is traditionally done between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time. However, there is trading which takes place after these hours of business. It is commonly referred to as “After Hours trading”, and has been around for some time.
