China car sales in the fast lane

China's automotive market, the largest in the world, is expected to grow strongly this year in spite of Beijing's decision to phase out some tax incentives and restrict new car sales in the capital, analysts forecast.

Procter & Gamble Co. (NYSE:PG) stated sales of its diapers, shavers and toothpaste increased around the globe in the first quarter, but its net income fell 7 percent after the sale of its prescription drug business.

INCIDENT: The traditional Swiss finishing school taught young women etiquette and social graces, but international bank regulators are talking about something much tougher when they refer to a “Swiss finish” for global banks.

Arcadia Resources Inc. (AMEX:KAD) recently announced fiscal 2011 first quarter net revenues of $25.8 million and a net loss of $4.0 million, or $0.02 per share, which compares to net revenue of $26.4 million and a net loss of $4.6 million, or $0.03 per share for the same period in the fiscal 2010.
