The purpose of this entry is to offer a quick recap of the most recent Warren Buffet buys. Mr. Buffet is one of the richest men in the world for good reason, and he’s arguably the most successful investor of all time. But should you trade or take a short term approach based on his purchases ?

The Warren Buffet you see now is the end product of meticulous years of hard work, the right connections, tons of failures and learning experience, and working with what he had at each stage of his life and success. He didn't start out as a billionaire and at that time, if he had tried to make money as if he had billions of dollars, he probably wouldn't have succeeded.

For the last several months, several observers including ourselves have noted that whatever is going on at the “lower-value-added” end of the manufacturing and technology scale the real challenge China poses to the US lies not in the area of currency valuations, but in the “higher-value-added” regions of so-called “green” or “clean” technologies.

It Feels Great To Be A Sloth Investor

Warren Buffett once remarked that successful investing consists of long periods of inactivity, bordering on sloth. That pretty much describes my attitude towards investing coming into the new year. If we are going to have more of the October massacre, then we should at least seek cover and conserve cash.

Forbes rankings are still topped by Business leaders even when hedge fund managers are earning mind boggling amounts of money. This article examines why that may be the case with help from an analysis done at Financial Times
