Timken Company (NYSE:TKR) reports that members of United Steelworkers Local 1123 based in Canton failed to ratify a tentative agreement between their bargaining representatives and the company.

The Timken Company develops, manufactures, markets, and sells anti-friction bearings and related products and steel products primarily in the United States and Europe.

(NYSE:AXR) reported a net loss of $279,000, or $0.05 per share, for its fiscal 2012 first quarter ended July 31, 2011, compared to a net loss of $498,000, or $0.08 per share, for the first quarter of the prior fiscal year. Revenues were $21,493,000 in the first quarter of this fiscal year versus $25,087,000 for the same period last year.
