There is a particular allure to high risk high reward stocks that make them attractive to many investors. There is a potential to become filthy rich overnight with the right pick.

Although it seems to go against common sense investing, many investors swear that finding the lowest stocks to buy is actually the best investment strategy. How does an investor measure the potential value of a new therapy or technology? From a financial perspective, the classical approach is to consider the following questions:

v How large is the potential market for a given product, in terms of number of potential patients, and potential dollar value?

Dollar Stores For A Cheap Market

The broader markets are getting hammered, but one sector, the dollar stores, are holding up.

Names like Family Dollar (NYSE: FDO), Dollar General (NYSE: DG), and Dollar Tree (NASDAQ: DLTR) are all hovering near the flatline, or slightly negative.
