WisdomTree announced today that the New York City Employees’ Retirement System (NYCERS) and the New York City Police Pension Fund have awarded two separate account mandates to WisdomTree for large cap dividend strategies. The portfolios will initially be funded with a total of approximately $415 Million. This propped the stock up over 12%, bringing it off of its 52 week low. They currently have $4,725,006,451.13 in assets under management as of 7/18/2008. If they can keep increasing this asset base, it may be a good buy.
