I am long GS but don't
I am long GS but don't expect this stock to recover before next fall. GS has a strong institutional business but the volatility of their prop. trading makes this stock not worth a high multiple. When the economy is slowing, credit is tight, and merger activity is weak we should expect even a stellar financial like GS to trade at a discount.

So, maybe wait a few days
So, maybe wait a few days for the retracement or start a position and add to it as it falls? Looks like they have already been on the way down since Wednesday, trading down everyday. Cramer, of course, is always bullish on this stock. Maybe Cramerican has some news?
Doesn't look like Lehman has
Doesn't look like Lehman has been doing well over the last 5 days, with a ton of volatility. They have been trading within a band of $55 and $65 for the last 5 months.
Well, if warren buffett is
Well, if warren buffett is getting into the financial sector than I agree that it is a good idea. These stocks have taken a beating and will return to their highs. Interesting that there is
Interesting that there is only 1 big money management firm, Lehman Brothers, on the list. What are your thoughts on the Goldman Sachs. They did have impressive numbers to the rest of their peers.
I'd trade GS, but I'm
I'd trade GS, but I'm expecting a retracement back to $185 within the next 10 trading days. Long-term though, I'd be holding it through 2008. I believe there will be a better entry point coming soon.
