The definitely have the diversity of Berkshire, but I am not sure about the business types being as close. Buffett focuses on companies that have sustainable value and will always be needed (Gillette, Dairy Queen, Sees, Coke, etc...). LUK engages in things like: manufacturing, telecommunications, property management and services, gaming entertainment, real estate activities, medical product development, and winery operations.

That isn't to say that they aren't sustainable businesses, its just a bit different model than Berkshire.
