Yep, with gold up the dollar is down. They have an inverse relationship. My friend and I were talking about it a couple of days ago. I told him I think the dollar will get worse, and he thinks it will start to go up.

We have seen the dollar at one of its weakest points in history (the Canadian Dollar and the US dollar haven't been in this relationship since the 1970s). I don't think you will see the dollar changing direction anytime soon, at least not with the current state of the economy. We are looking at a point of stagflation, never a good sign. Is Warren Buffett still short the dollar?
