Current Technology announced it would bring on technology start-up veteran, Guy Fielder as chief operating officer (COO) of its subsidiary, Celevoke. Mr. Fielder’s previous experience includes almost 10 years with Compaq computer, where he was both senior project manager and Portable Group’s group manager. As group manager, he was responsible for defining the direction of new portable computers, and his direction led to an additional $2 billion in revenues and ensured the company’s leadership in Portable Computing.
