A more "fundamental" look at Apple's corporate strategy and long term growth story. I believe the company is currently miscast as a tech leader and is more a consumer products retailer that has been riding an ability to make trends ala Gap of the late 1980s and mid 1990s. I outline what I believe the company needs to do in its strategy going forward to continue to return outsized growth to its investors which involves more than simply continuing to launch individual hit products but instead a more cohesive approach towards product strategy.
