That’s right, I said WIMPS!

I have never heard so much whining and crying and complaining about a market drop as I have the past few weeks. Last week, I pointed out that we had only fallen 105 points from the prior week (10,172 to 10,067) and this week we fell ALL THE WAY to 10,012 to finish the week and you would think the world was ending (again) from the way the MSM has been acting.

It has been a scary ride down over the last 10 days but we cannot let fear overcome us. Yes the S&P 500 has corrected 6.6% from its closing high, but did we forget it rallied 70% from its closing low?

With the major indices trading mixed Wednesday, there were many stocks which traded higher on BIG volume. The list described below is a large one which is quite unusual for a rather flat trading day.

Today is Wednesday November 25, 2009 and I am in a selling mood, not because I am extremely bearish but because I see a potential profit play. I am looking to sell covered calls on some of my holdings. If you're thinking about selling covered calls like me, today may be the day to do it!

With the market trading relatively flat on November options expiration Friday, there were several stocks that hit my radar which traded higher on BIG volume. In this post, I will name 11 stocks which traded higher Friday November 20, 2009. I will be checking these stocks frequently to see if there is continued buying pushing the stocks higher.

When we have a move such as we did Monday, it is not unusual to see this many stocks moving higher on greater volume than the 50 day average.
