China Yingxia International, Inc., provider of nutritional food products and supplements primarily for the Chinese market, announced a doubling of revenues for the third quarter ending September 30. Revenue shot up to $7.5 million, a staggering 112% from the same quarter last year, while net income jumped 88%, to $3.2 million.

Nutrition 21, Inc. (NXXI), a producer of a broad portfolio of nutritional supplements, reported fourth quarter 2008 financial results this morning. Revenues were $11.0 million, a 5% decrease year-over-year and a 2% increase sequentially. EBITDA of $0.8 million represents the first positive EBITDA quarter since Q2 2005.

China Medicine Corporation (CHME.OB), a developer and distributor of pharmaceuticals and nutritional supplements in China, reported strong second quarter financial results this morning. Revenues increased 40.8% year over year to $11.6 million, compared to $8.3 million in Q2 2007. Net income soared 118.8% to $2.5 million, or 16 cents per share, vs. $1.1 million, or 8 cents per share a year ago.
