The stock broke above the 50dayMA on strong volume after an earnings beat. CIEN, a maker of networking products, is a survivor of the internet era. I'm not particularly fond of networkers especially if they're going against the 800lb gorrila Cisco.

An article discussing why Cisco still has great value even after the downward revision to future expectations. Revenue growth in Emerging Markets grew 53% last quarter and shows little sign of slowing.

I thought I would share a report I found on Infectious Greed. These are the top ten stocks by dollars traded in 2007. It will be interesting to see how these compare in 2008. Will they still be heavily traded?
