I've officially entered the phase of my trading where I am becoming bored. Not because I am inactive, far from it. I've been absolutely killing it this year, and had my biggest day of the year today rolling SRS profits into a healthy sized SKF position that I kept right into the close. I relish the moving parts aspect of markets. The reward of putting together a sequence of events much in the manner of the famed deductive reasoning of Sherlock Holmes or Auguste Dupin (the character that Doyle was inspired to create Holmes) is part of why I love trading. The market has been too easy of late. I see tons of traders trying to characterize every market spasm. That, to me, is a lack of confidence. I don't need to characterize or qualify anything. I just take trade after trade that triggers like a machine. My own theory on why it has been easy is that too many people are learning Technical Analysis and becoming cannon fodder for those of us with experience.
