Arts and crafts retailer Michaels Stores, Inc. filed for an Initial Public Offering (IPO), Michaels Stores IPO for short, in late March 2012.  Once the Michaels Stores IPO occurs, the Michaels Stores stock will trade on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) as symbol “MIK”.
