Sandy Spring Bancorp, Inc., (Nasdaq:SASR), the parent company of Sandy Spring Bank, reported that the board of directors has declared a quarterly common stock dividend of $0.12 per share payable May 16, 2012 to shareholders of record on May 9, 2012. This dividend represents a $0.02 per share increase over the dividend paid in the first quarter of 2012.
