** DVOX reported its first quarter fiscal year 2012 results, posting net sales of $26.2 million, a 21% year over year. Gross profit for the first quarter of fiscal year 2012 increased 24% to $19.0 million, compared to $15.3 million in the same period the prior year.

Acording to its fiscal year 2012 guidance, DVOX continues to project net sales to grow in the range of 3% to 7% from fiscal year 2011.

ARWR, Arrowhead Research Corp.

** ARWR reported the publication of data from its majority-owned subsidiary Ablaris Therapeutics, Inc.'s lead drug candidate, Adipotide, demonstrating weight loss and reduction in body mass index and abdominal circumference in obese rhesus monkeys.

The data, which was published in Science Translational Medicine, demonstrates that monkeys treated with Adipotide lost an average of 11 percent of their body weight after only four weeks of treatment. In addition, Adipotide-treated animals showed marked improvements in insulin resistance (using about 60 percent less insulin after treatment compared to baseline), suggesting potential for use in treating type-2 diabetes.
